Nike has officially unveiled the Kobe 3 Protro, a modern reinterpretation of the shoe Kobe Bryant wore during his legendary 2007–08 MVP season. This release goes beyond a simple retro; it represents a complete redesign tailored to today’s faster and more dynamic style of basketball. Widely regarded as Nike’s most comprehensive Protro project to date, the Kobe 3 Protro emphasizes both performance and legacy. It introduces a full-length Zoom Strobel unit for unmatched responsiveness, paired with a Cushlon 3.0 midsole that enhances cushioning and durability. The outsole has been reengineered with an advanced traction pattern for optimal grip and multidirectional movement. The upper blends breathable mesh with structural overlays, balancing lightness with support. The shoe launches in the symbolic all-white “Halo” colorway, accented with diamond-inspired details honoring Natalia Bryant (Diamanté).
